All-Star Superman #11

Luthor avoids electrocution with 24 hour super serum. Superman shuts down his fortress of solitude, leaves robots to maintain. Red sun artificial intelligence tries to kill Superman, his now freed sun eater pet tries to save him. Clark manages to make it to the Daily Planet offices to file story on Superman's death, dies.

All-Star Superman #10

Grant Morrison is a weird guy. Issue deals with Superman trying to get things done before dying of solar radiation poisoning. Creates pocket universe to see if earth could survive without him, moves the Kandorians to Mars to let them live at their own size with yellow sun super powers. Good stuff, must re-read when arc is done.
