Blue Beetle #28

Old mad scientist ran into first Blue Beetle years ago, had his giant dog killed, and disappeared. Dog starts showing up in Jaime's neighborhood destroying stuff. Turns out mad scientist had been on the run for decades and this was just his little dog that transformed. Jaime let them go under protest of Peacemaker - says the guy has been punished enough.

Worst ending ever. Last issue of series.

Panda is dead. Ray Palmer has never heard of Ryan Choi - never corresponded with him. I really don't even care to look through it again to check the details.

Astonishing X-Men #25

First Warren Ellis issue.

X-Men based in San Francisco now - doing some work helping local authorities. They're called in on a murder of a guy who ends up just floating and burning - can't be put out. They discover he was tracking a guy who ambushed him, killed him, and ran. He is headed towards Chaparanga - "where spaceships go to die" to try to get offworld.
