X-Men based in San Francisco now - doing some work helping local authorities. They're called in on a murder of a guy who ends up just floating and burning - can't be put out. They discover he was tracking a guy who ambushed him, killed him, and ran. He is headed towards Chaparanga - "where spaceships go to die" to try to get offworld.
