They teleport away after Green Lama wrecks skyscraper with tree. Death-Defying Devil deals silently with riots in Paris. Pyroman freaks out after coming out of urn, burns Hollywood hillside. Black Terror vows to kill American Spirit for trapping him, but will work with him for now.

The Twelve #4 of 12

Excello can't stand EM overload, reveals he had a plan for if he slept for 60 years, has fortune to build fortress. Black Widow killed some guy. Laughing Mask tracked down by the police for using guns in vigilante activity(needed to catalog guns as evidence, will probably be used to frame him in future). Blue Blade tries to recruit Rockman for acting gig, learns about Rockman's empire. Great underground war was what drew him from his Princess. Phantom Reporter's first article published about how he's not a hero and how things aren't so black and white without huge enemy to align against like WWII.

Dark Tower:The Long Road Home #2 of 5

Sheemie experimented on by robot in the Dogan("North Central Positronics Psychic Enhancer Assistant"), Roland still in the eye of Maerlyn. Roland encounters Marten there, manages to come conscious while being carried across crappy bridge. Apparently orb trying to use him to escape by being dropped. Very 'One Ring'. Sheemie has teleportation powers now.

Annihilation Book 1 - TPB

Drax on prison ship, crashes in Alaska. Other survivors co-opt nearby townspeople to salvage technology to flee. Drax dies in conflict with survivors. Annihilus absobs Quasar, Nova manages to have worldmind connect to hivemind and command attack of own fleet. Nova flees with Drax and Cammi, all colonists survived. Not as good as Fables or Ex Machina, but this blows away the Civil War BS that was happening at the same time.

Mighty Avengers #11

Thought bubbles still way overdone. Doom comes from Morgan La Fey's time with demon army to clean up after Republican Avengers. Turns out Doom was able to jump in half an hour before Iron Man and Sentry when coming back from the 60s. Issue mostly takes place before end of previous issue. Still wondering when Tony had time for this mission what with his main title. He's not at Wolverine levels, though. Big hints on Spider-Woman being a Skrull with power used to get them out of Doom's trap. Skrull invasion next issue.

Jack of Fables #20

Jack and company discover lost city of gold that was on map from Humpty Dumpty's ass. Money puts blonde Page sister in the mood - afterwards we learn Jack has completed the Page sister Trifecta. After revealing his accomplishment, Jack receives quick kick in the nuts but regrets NOTHING. Also, Jack hides all the gold in his suitcase of holding, leaving most of his group screwed after they run off with the pack animals. Outro - retconned characters assembled in army to wreak havoc. Need to re-read previous issues due to not taking notes on this guy who assembled them.

Looking forward to "Issue after next, I discover a magic orb that turns me into the master of the universe and allows me to go back in time and make out with Audrey Hepburn:inarguably the greatest hottie of all time."

All-Star Superman #10

Grant Morrison is a weird guy. Issue deals with Superman trying to get things done before dying of solar radiation poisoning. Creates pocket universe to see if earth could survive without him, moves the Kandorians to Mars to let them live at their own size with yellow sun super powers. Good stuff, must re-read when arc is done.

Blue Beetle #25

This is what a comic should be. Great writing, great characterization, good art. Refreshing lack of crossovers or continuity to keep track of. This is easily one of the best books out there. This caps off the Reach arc with Jaime and the Beetle starting to communicate on a new level. The sheer level of smackdown to the alien plan is great. Remembering this issue won't be a problem. KHAJI DA!

Jack of Fables #21

After the unabashed awesomeness of the previous issue capping off the eggman caper, this is a huge letdown. From reading online, nobody can tell Wicked John from Jack, which is a big part of how this story is supposed to work. It's just a flashback to the Pathetic Fallacy trying to put on a Shakespearian play in the retirement community. Nothing too exciting.. :( Still love the series.

Wolverine:First Class #1

OK, who doesn't love Kitty Pride? Apparently this will be the Wolverine and Kitty teamup book and I'm completely ok with this. It's lighthearted like all of X-Men First Class(until that last issue) and doesn't deal with hideous amounts of backstory. Fun for all. I hear next issue involves Kitty trying to plan Logan's surprise birthday party.

Issue focuses on Kitty accompanying Wolverine against his will to locate a mutant inducing a feral reaction from townspeople. Wolverine is triggered but Kitty talks him down.

X-Men:First Class #10

OK, for a feelgood silly book this was surprisingly dark. Cyclops has to go rescue some people from a supermutant, ends up killing him. The end. Wacky and fun! LOL!

Damage Control #3

Waste of time. No overall story arc. Just a bit of Damage Control attitude in a 3 issue money grab. Good for wrapping paper.

Countdown to Adventure #8

Last issue, going through the motions of finishing up the story arc. Enjoyable, kinda. Starfire's juked up solar powers cure San Diego of death worshiper virus. I would have liked it better if the Forerunner story wasn't included to keep the price down or number of issues down. I love Animal Man, but I was tired of the jealousy his wife had towards Starfire. Buddy's kid loves snuggling with Starfire. Meh. Must keep in mind got about half the issues at a buck apiece from Joe's fire sale.

Drafted #6

Dear god, nothing is happening. Apparently something happened somewhere at some point, but this is a pointless series. BUY NO MORE! GIVE TO JOE!

X-Men:Legacy #209

Xavier revived by combination of Karima and de-powered Magneto. Actually kinda interesting. Issue ends with Xavier about to have psychic showdown with whoever had kidnapped him and healed him.

Terminator 2 #7

Finishes Painkiller Jane crossover. Jane heals from broken neck/death, tracks terminator to Central Park. Daughter from the future jumps back, sacrifices self to set off terminator self destruct.

The Spirit #15

Diamond heist based around Parisian beauty competition. Glass diadem swapped with one made from stolen diamonds, to be brought into the states by winner unknowingly. Spirit still sucks with the women.

Spider-Man:With Great Power #3

Spider-Man continues wrestling/media exploitation. Scores with groupie, new manager, Liz Allen, lets robber get away. Art continues creeping me out due to art/faces identical to Ex Machina.

Justice League of America #19

Does anything happen in this book? JLA trying to track down J'onn J'ohns who infiltrated group heading to Prison Planet but only encounter cosmic baddie on planet. Supervillains apparently MIA.

Iron Man #27

Mia tricked into giving secret to weaponized extremis by Mandarin using mind powers. SHIELD almost shut down after grav nuking on american soil. Outro - extremis bearing missiles good to go.

Hack/Slash 10

Cassie tries to track down her dad, ends up having to kill pack of feral children created by mad scientist experimenting with slasher virus.

Ghost Rider #21

Who knew killer demon nurses trying to track down their near death experience patient could be so cool? We learn patient had died, encountered heaven under siege, came back and was kept in chemical coma by bad angel's minions to not spread the word. GR has to face killer nurses and cannibal ghosts on haunted stretch of road to get away with dude.

Captain America #36

Bucky still trying to be Cap. Takes out group led by Red Skull's daughter - busts a lot of heads. Sharon trying to escape Faustus' lab encounters Cap's body - OR DOES SHE!?

Brave and the Bold #11

Ultraman brought to regular DC universe by Vowelled knight of Order Miyezpitelik for teamup to stop Megistus from taking over Sun as base/destroying universe. Ultraman somehow bigger dick than Superman.

Battlestar Galactica:Origins 4

Wraps up Gaius backstory - ends with runup to tv miniseries. Gaius actually has a conscience. Shows deployment of new/compromised jump computers - only 95% success rate.

Authority Prime #6

Caps off the series. Climactic fight between clone Bendix(w/all Authority powers) and Authority. Spirit of Murder regains senses, takes him down. OR DOES SHE?!

My comic log

I hate having that loss of what the hell I just read. Even worse is weeks or months down the road being utterly unable to recall major plot points. Nobody needs to read this.
